Dear reader,
After 8 years at Google, I decided it was time for my third career, and that happened last week. I always knew it’d be my author era next, and here we are on the other side!
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Seven years ago, I jumped out of a plane in an unplanned skydiving adventure with a good friend’s sister. My friend had broken her collarbone on a biking adventure and decided I would be better fit to go skydiving with her younger sister on her sister’s birthday. She told me the morning of the dive, and much to my usually risk-averse chagrin, I complied, and it changed my life forever.
It is important for me to trust the universe, the paths it has offered to me, to let go and let God, spread my wings, and fly into the unknown. My ability to thrive in ambiguity is sharp, and my ability to create magic out of it, is powerful.
In this next chapter - see feliciaiyamu.com to follow along - I will focus on my personal brand and company. I spent the past month with my newly formed brand team creating logos, brand elements, and brand strategy for the parent company, Felicia Iyamu, and all subsidiaries (i.e. my publications) I will produce in the next years.
POETRY IN EDEN is being self-published this year as a way to build market awareness about my writing and global presence about my authorship. It also captures the essence of my soul and collective unconscious. It is a creation from my soul. In this way, I will have more to show as I continue to take the traditional publishing route for ICARUS.
This newsletter will appear in your inbox every two weeks. Every other post will be for paid subscribers only and will include sneak peeks and previews into my author, philosopher, and entrepreneur journey.
Thank you for coming along for the ride. It is a beautiful time. We have one life to live! My mission is to bring truth and joy to the world, and I promise you today, I will stick to it, and I WILL NOT GIVE UP.
On the Other Side of the Moon
May we go with courage.
May we walk in grace.
May we always hold on to faith.
May our words hold integrity.
May we see the truth.
May we honour our neighbour.
And cherish our youth.
Until next time . . .
Please, continue to fly,
Fly
Fly.
Go with the Divine.
May She walk by your side.
See you next time.
See you soon.
I will certainly see you
on the other side
of the moon.
Congratulations Felicia!
I love that you are bravely and enthusiastically creating your own path. You are an inspiration and I wish for you, much success.
